In depth

Verdict

This looks a race for market watchers. The four-year-old Jess's Corner led for a long way over slightly further at Bellewstown while Lauderdale Lady produced her best effort so far at the same meeting. THE WONKY TONK finished fourth in a handicap that day, staying on very strongly after looking out with the washing. He has the scope to do better and gets the nod, though Siberian Star may be suited by dropping back in trip. The latter remark also applies to Earl Of Desmond, who has changed stables, while Hardy Man ran well for a long way in a 2m5f handicap here last month.
