In depth

Verdict

LONGCLAW started off with Gordon Elliott and went to the USA where he finished third in a Listed contest at Kentucky Downs. He had a run at Churchill Downs for Brad Cox and is back where he started with a very good chance of losing his maiden tag. Classify is by Nayef and will have found a mile at Dundalk too short but he was staying on and this will be more like his trip. Crassus was placed in a hot Navan maiden before not getting the run of the race in a lucrative auction event at Naas so he can do better while Pugin is the first foal of a middle-distance Listed winner and is one to one for the future. Indicative Vote has much more basic speed in his pedigree than most of these so it's a question of whether he stays the trip.
