Verdict

Kevin Prendergast has won this twice in recent years but Gemara doesn't appear to have progressed as expected after his second at Bellewstown. Bob Younger has looked as though a longer trip than this will suit on both starts to date but Burrenbridge Lodge had every chance at this distance on his debut at Gowran and will appreciate dropping down. It was a surprise to see JAMSIE over the minimum trip at Tipperary last time as he had been staying on over 6f at Cork previously. With David Marnane's horses in flying form he gets the vote though Long Time Crossing produced an improved performance behind Foolproof at Cork and shouldn't be dismissed.
