Verdict

Christy Roche and Fran Berry teamed up to win this two years ago with Lethal Weapon and can follow up with MADEIRA CLASSIC. Though upped 8lb since scoring at Navan, the Alhaarth gelding appears to be only just coming to hand having been lightly campaigned throughout his career. Dai Bando had some decent form over hurdles over the winter and was well backed on his return to the Flat at Dundalk. The Polytrack may not have suited him there and he's capable of better. The ultra-consistent Ceylon won at Sligo before finishing fourth at Leopardstown and can never be ignored while Gowran winner Tawseef also enters the equation. Dancingwithangels has been in good form and is another with claims.
