In depth

Verdict

Kestrel Prince won a maiden over course and distance in June and was then third over a mile at Killarney. Joseph O’Brien trained the winner that day and has LARMOUR entered here. A 31,000gns foal, current connections paid double that for him as a yearling and there was a lot of promise in his first run at Fairyhouse, where he was very green. Engles Rock has been second over distances ranging from 5f to 7f and will be hard to keep out of the frame again but Dadoozdart hasn’t been seen since making a winning start over 5f at Naas in April, though will handle conditions. Queen Ryker shaped nicely at Galway and Chutzpah and Last Judgment are newcomers to note.
