In depth

Verdict

Alcander hasn't run since disappointing at Leopardstown in May where he was well supported after a narrow defeat at Cork. Lost History was beaten a long way into second in a Fairyhouse claimer while Galtymore seemed better suited by a shorter trip at Listowel. SIEMPRE AMIGOS (NAP) was travelling well throughout then stayed on strongly to finish runner-up in a Galway handicap on soft ground. That was only his sixth race and with more to come looks the one to be on. He comfortably holds Isabella Vite on that run while Nannys Well has only won once in 16 starts and did better when dropping back in trip last time.
