After being beaten a short-head at Naas in March, THE LOVELY MAN again finished second on his reappearance at Wexford earlier this month though this time beaten 19 lengths. A repeat of that earlier effort should be good enough here and he holds Yeats Star on the later run though the latter improved at Downpatrick next time. Jhentong Enki started favourite and bolted up in a point at Kirkistown while Bayou Belle produced her best effort to date when beaten just a length at Kilbeggan, though was receiving 17lb from the winner.
