In depth

Verdict

Talkin Kate is sure to attract support under Joseph O'Brien despite her big weight as she has been in superb form recently with her narrow defeat by Blackwitch Woman at Cork her best run to date. However, the weight concession to TEACHERS CHOICE may just prove beyond her as the latter was a very impressive winner at Gowran on Saturday despite veering badly in the closing stages and can complete a quick double with his penalty. Kristal Komet hasn't run over this trip since her second juvenile start but showed very good speed over 1m1f at Fairyhouse last time and will get a good ride from Leigh Roche. Crying Aloud has dropped to a very reasonable mark and was having his first start for a year when catching the eye at Laytown earlier this month.
