      Verdict

      A winner here in May, Crystal Casque has finished second three times in a row at Sandown but is getting no help from the handicapper while recent course winner Ajrad tries a new distance. Bugle Major has been racing over much longer trips and has changed stables since beaten in a claimer at Leicester. Buxted Too struggles to get his head in front and a couple of three-year-olds make more appeal. Sandy Paradise still has something to prove on Turf but MAOKAI was going away at the finish at Chepstow and there should be more to come.
