Spoken looks a real danger, as he followed up a promising debut with a solid win here on his second start. The second has gone on to be placed twice in hot maidens since, and he is respected. After a series of placed efforts, Mawaddah was not winning out of turn when landing his maiden. Although only second last time, that was in handicap company, and another solid run is expected. Beneath was a taking debutant, finishing strongly in second at Wolverhampton. A decisive winner next time, though the second has let the form down, Beneath looks potentially useful and gets the vote.
