Verdict
With trainer John Gosden in such good form it is hard to get away from Marching Band. A Dewhurst Stakes entry, he was dropped back to six furlongs at Newbury last time and won convincingly. He looks to hold a good chance again today but this is an interesting event. Richard Hannon runs One Last Time and he boasts decent juvenile form, not least when second to Revenue at Royal Ascot. He returns after a 76-day break but the stable are confident that he will be fit enough to do himself justice. Both Marching Band and One Last Time have to concede three pounds to the field. Arakan showed good promise on his debut and is entitled to improve on that effort. Love Is Blind has solid enough juvenile form and was well ahead of Moujoudh at Haydock (over a furlong further than today). Moujoudh had earlier finished ahead of the disappointing One Last Time (who is a pound better off today for one-and-three-quarter lengths) over today's trip but has since had that break. Overall then, Marching Band is the TEAMtalk selection to continue John Gosden's good form.
