        Verdict

        Blaine has dropped to a mark from which he should be capable of winning and, likewise, Equimou. Awesome is better than he showed at Lingfield last month and Madame Bounty continues to knock on the door. Three Little Birds has been consistent at a lower level and Kodiac Express has already won three times this season and continues to hold her own. MAY REMAIN wasn’t beaten far here in August when 2lb higher and was poorly drawn when behind Rio Ronaldo at Sandown subsequently. She has fared better here and also has Rossa Ryan’s claim in her favour so could go close if she’s benefited from a recent wind operation.
