    Verdict

    Maid In Rio is a stout stayer but she was disappointing last time in a Listed race at Deauville. Rawaki has been competing well in better company but is an infrequent winner nowadays and Thomas Brown won't be able to claim his allowance in this contest. RENEW will have needed his run at Windsor last month. A repeat of his fourth in the Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket in May would probably suffice here and he makes more appeal than doubtful stayer Aussie Reigns.
