          Formwatch

          Blakeshall Boy Has conditions to suit (five furlongs and fast ground) but looks a difficult ride for an apprentice (needs to be brought to the front at the right time); may have just gone off the boil recently.

          Our Fred Ran up to his form at Bath last time when making most of the running; has claims but appears to be a shade high in the weights at present.

          Red Ryding Hood Not disgraced in better company at Epsom last time; claims from a favourable draw.

          Travesty of Law (IRE) Well berthed in stall 16 of 18 runners but with other pacesetters in the line up drawn close by may not have things all his own way.

          Absolute Fantasy Winner at Goodwood and Haydock earlier in the season and back to form when second at Newmarket last time (despite missing the break); may have the race run to suit her and from good draw has every chance of recording a third win of the season.

          Lisianski (IRE) On a hat-trick following wins at Folkestone and Goodwood; more needed off new mark.

          Brainwave Won with plenty in hand at Folkestone last time to record second win of the campaign; seems better on fast ground and with conditions again to suit should be thereabouts from decent draw.

          Sussex Lad Inconsistent gelding; has claims on Salisbury win last month.

          Parkside Pursuit Well beaten on debut for Milton Bradley at Newmarket last time (held by Absolute Fantasy); three times a winner on fast ground for Mick Channon this term and has claims if able to reproduce those efforts.

          Fiamma Royale (IRE) Seems plenty high enough in the weights at present.

          River Tern Another Milton Bradley-trained sprinter; claims from stall 12.

          Indian Bazaar (IRE) Like a lot of the stable's sprinters has been running well; done no favours by the draw.

          Arogant Prince Claims on third at Newbury last month but largely disappointing type.

          Ultimajur (USA) No real sign of encouragement from admittedly limited opportunities this term.

          Bali-Star Place claims at best.

          Balidare String of noughts next to name can only increase here.

          Passion For Life No sign of encouragement from recent outings; string of ducks eggs likely to get longer!

          Threat Another held by Absolute Fantasy on Newmarket running; twice beaten since and seems to always find at least one too good.
