Verdict
Sly Madam remains in good form, despite having only won once so far this year, and she is the only previous course and distance winner in the line-up. Stormbuster was returning from a break when unplaced behind JUST BRING IT (NAP) at Windsor but it’s still difficult to envisage the top weight will reverse that form, despite a 6lb turnaround in the weights, as the winner had a bit in hand. Resolute Man has been a beaten favourite three times this season with Garden Route making more appeal in cheekpieces having failed to handle soft going and a step up in trip last time at Goodwood.
