Verdict
The well-bred MARBAAN looks a sound bet to defy a penalty and follow up a very easy all-the-way win at Nottingham. Majestic Newlaw, a 37,000gns yearling, is a half-brother to a 7f winner and from a yard that places its juveniles to good effect. We Could Be Heroes, who cost £125,000, made a promising start when third at Newmarket but Zodiac Star is bred to be a better three-year-old. The filly Poetic Union is worth a market check but Asfour will need to improve for the step up in trip.
