Sherman McCoy is just 3lb higher than when scoring over the C&D in June and didn't enjoy the softer ground at Newmarket last time. Mazagee is a progressive stayer who has scored on soft ground and Polytrack and is probably still well handicapped and though Miss Topsy Turvy is taking a step up in trip she's just the type John Dunlop does so well with at the backend of the season. DEVOTED wasn't suited by Chester last time after a very good run at Newmarket and gets the vote in a tricky finale, while Billy Buttons met an improver in Sandusky at Goodwood and is an obvious threat if staying this much longer trip.
