Monsieur Lambrays may well have beaten Christopher Wood at Pontefract had he steered a straight course in the closing stages. He’s now fitted with a visor and holds the disappointing Ballylemon on that run so has every chance of going one better but it’s also about time HIGH COMMISSIONER (NAP) was getting his head in front. Despite failing to win last season, Josh Bryan’s mount showed useful form and he wasn’t beaten far on his reappearance at Kempton last month.
