      Verdict

      Ariel was only beaten a neck at Doncaster when on a four-timer. He holds Shuv H'penny King on that run but a further 3lb rise is a bit of a concern. Calcutta Cup will have needed the run at Goodwood and Murphy takes over the reins but Tasfeeq’s win at Bath in April hasn’t worked out, though he has been gelded since last seen. Zwelela appears to be treading water off her current mark so the vote goes to SEVENAL, who doesn’t appear straightforward but had excuses last time at Nottingham and is another recently gelded.
