Verdict
Spring Fever and Alba Longa have a rise in the weights to contend with after making winning handicap debuts and are also upped a grade. Spirit Of The Bay won at this level at Haydock and is 5lb higher but TIMELESS MELODY (NAP) made her handicap bow in Class 2 company over a mile at Ascot. She wasn’t beaten far, despite her finishing position, with a late rally suggesting this extra distance will suit. Dual Polytrack winner Dayzee is back up in trip and is preferred to Totnes.
