Archimboldo is on the upgrade and can score again, with Fredricksburg, Kalankari and Darusso just three possible dangers. Sir Mark Prescott could win with the stable cat at present, having unleashed a host of improvers, and his juvenile Archimboldo has already shown what he is capable of, having opened his account at Bath last time. That came on his nursery bow after a two-month break, the step up to a mile not posing a problem, and as he did it despite the ground being like a road, the slightly better conditions here should bring out the best in him, and the son of Woodman can follow up. Fredricksburg has been given three quiet runs and this Derby entry makes his nursery debut. He will be interesting when upped in trip next term. Kalankari is weighted to turn the tables on the selection on six-pound better terms, but he was clearly held last time and may again have to play second fiddle. Darusso was hampered when about to mount a challenge at Chepstow on his latest start and should be placed in a run-of-the-mill nursery before too long, but on this occasion Archimboldo is very much the one to catch.
