Lucy The Painter ended last year winning a lower grade race at Wolverhampton and Euthenia finally came good in a Class 6 contest at Lingfield last time. But GHALIB can boast stronger form than both judged on a comfortable two-length victory in this grade at Kempton last month and he gets the vote to defy an 8lb hike. It was heavy ground when Krazy Paving opened his account at Windsor in October but he had finished ahead of Kill Or Cure before that while Richard Hughes' presence on handicap debutant Equleus takes the eye and he could go well.
