Verdict

SWIFT AND SURE found herself on the lead at Newbury last time and faded in the closing stages. Clive Cox’ filly should do better in this less competitive affair and went close under Hector Crouch at Bath earlier. Wing Defence looks likely to finish closer today after a modest debut at Windsor but Djibouti has plenty of improving to do if she’s to figure. Clubora is preferred to stable companion Mongoli while Clara Peeters is related to five winners and another newcomer to note.
