Not many can be seriously fancied in a weak affair and the vote goes to Voluptuous ahead of One Way Ticket and Miss Champers. The Jamie Osbourne-trained Voluptuous was a little below her best when fancied for a competitive Southwell handicap earlier in the month but there were excuses as she found trouble in running and the run is probably best forgotten. The daughter of Polish precedent had previously shown a useful level of form on the all-weather during the winter and a reproduction should see her go close from a favourable high draw. Miss Champers is a dual all-weather winner and is best in on official ratings but Richard Hannon's filly has been disappointing of late and was comfortably held in similar company last time. One Way Ticket hails from an in-form yard but showed only moderate form in maiden company as a juvenile and is best watched on her return, particularly as she has to concede weight all round.
