        Verdict

        Carpe Diem Lady is a consistent type but her tame effort at Newbury last time suggests this trip may not be ideal. The same applies to Procurator, who was running on well at a mile last time and could be outpaced here, while Coastal Cyclone has not made much impression in handicaps to date. In an open race, DELAGATE THIS LORD could be the answer. He got off the mark at Newbury on his first run for Michael Attwater and should be able to follow up here. Swanton Blue was disappointing at Newbury earlier this month, but he is more effective at this trip and has each-way prospects, as does veteran sprinter Whitecrest.
