Verdict
Dirty Rascal deserves a change of luck. Second on debut at Windsor, he was then disqualified after beating a subsequent winner at Ascot and probably came up against a smart newcomer in stablemate Watan at Goodwood. But the Hannon colt may be forced to play bridesmaid again as CRANTOCK BAY was probably unlucky not to make a winning start at Ascot and improvement is likely. Tin Hat has won only one of his seven starts but was fifth in the Windsor Castle in June and faced a stiff task at the weights in a Goodwood nursery last time. Jockey bookings would suggest the once-raced Grandstand is the pick of the two Andrew Balding runners while Flash of Power makes more appeal than stable companion Mykindofsunshine.
