Verdict

Our Phylli Vera continues to rise up the weights without winning and is now 10lb higher than April's win at Warwick, though she still has the beating of Isola Bella and Gadreel. Recent 7f winner Compton Target is unproven over today's trip and likewise Temuco, who carries a penalty for his recent win over 7f in soft ground at this track with Bajan Hero well behind. Chepstow maiden winner AUTUMN FIRE has plenty of scope for improvement on only her fourth start and handicap debut and Andrew Balding's filly gets the vote to go in again today.
