        Verdict

        Bay Story looks the pick in this tricky contest, with Kingdom Of Dreams and Silent Jo two others to watch out for. Mark Johnston's colt only landed a a five runner affair at Haydock, but he beat a very promising type into second, with the third some 17 lengths behind. The handicapper will have found it hard to assess this one and he may have got in lightly. Kingdom Of Dreams goes from strength to strength and made it two on the bounce when comfortably beating Piccolomini at Goodwood last time, he should go close in his hat-trick bid. Godolphin's Silent Jo showed plenty of promise as a juvenile and should improve for his seasonal return behind Come On Jonny. Solent and Gurrun look the pick of the others, but Bay Story has plenty of scope for improvement and gets our vote.
