        In depth

        Verdict

        Tawaafoq and Shozita are newcomers of interest for Richard Hannon and Ralph Beckett respectively and the market should prove a valuable signpost to their respective chances. However, TEXAS KATIE (NAP) has considerable experience to call upon after three runs for the Channon team and is already proven on good to firm ground. She was an excellent second to Hawana at the July meeting and more recently a close fourth to Tiburtina at Newbury when denied the clearest of passages late on. The champion jockey now partners her for the first time and the Clodovil filly is taken to make her experience count. Glory of Paris and Neptunes Secret both showed a level of promise last time and should improve again.
