Verdict
In what looks a very competitive sprint handicap, Corridor Creeper is taken to be rewarded for a string of good efforts with a much deserved first win of the season, with Roxanne Mill and Awarding the biggest dangers. Milton Bradley's gelding has finished runner-up in all three starts this season, and finished a neck in front of Roxanne Mill here 11 days ago. It is possible that Roxanne Mill may have improved a few pounds for that effort, but Corridor Creeper is a model of consistency and just gets the vote. The Best Yet is a progressive sprinter whose last run when poorly drawn at Royal Ascot can be ignored. There is little doubt he has more wins in him but the minimum trip may prove a shade too sharp here. Awarding ran a cracker when fourth at Royal Ascot but is possibly just in the handicappers grip, so it's Corridor Creeper for us.
