Verdict
Ritchie Valens has been running well in better races than this so will appreciate the drop in grade. Having just lost out to the odds-on King Ademar at Windsor, Global Hunter got the race in the stewards’ room. He will have learned plenty from that while Zephyrina won on an easier surface at Chepstow, though also carries a penalty. ALADAALA (NAP) is making her Turf debut but was a shade keen at Chelmsford on her reappearance and probably came up against a couple of useful fillies. She has scope and a good chance here if taking to the surface.
