      Verdict

      PETTOCHSIDE is more than double the age of all his rivals but there's little doubt that the fires are still burning brightly and he should give apprentice find Harry Davies a cracking ride as he looks very well treated taking into account his rider's claim. He also ran a cracker the time before at Ascot. Alice Haynes continues to rattle in the winners and The Cola Kid only went down narrowly at Leicester a few days ago. Strike also continues to perform with credit and is shortlist material.
