        Verdict

        Hawridge Glory had Pretty Jewel and Wordismybond well behind when winning over 1m2f at Newbury but the drop in distance here off a 4lb higher mark is a worry given BORN ON THE CLYDE was much improved over this trip on his reappearance at Dundalk and has the added bonus of Simon Walker in the saddle. Berkeley Vale is another who needs further but Essenaitch would probably be thereabouts on his best form.
