In depth

Verdict

Charlie Mann's My Turn Now has a progressive profile and is taken to defy his penalties and complete a quick hat trick and score at the main expense of Flying Forme and Benetwood. The last mentioned made a winning start to his career when landing a Fontwell bumper on a soft surface and Victor Dartnell's gelding has to be of interest on his hurdling debut although lack of experience is of some concern. Nicky Henderson's French import Tarotino is hard to weigh up on his British debut and may be best watched, while Lincoln's Inn is likely to do better over further and once sent chasing. Nick Gifford's Push The Port could be one for the future but is another probably best watched today and of more interest may be Flying Forme. The Philip Hobbs-trained gelding comes from the Irish point-to-point world and could be capable of taking a hand under these conditions but My Turn Now has solid claims and he gets the vote to win again.
