Verdict

Kilcrea Vale is probably on a fair mark at present but has not lasted home in two previous runs over 3m. Shanroe Santos does stay and is a course and distance winner but was pulled up in this last year when 10lb lower. Stablemate Le Reve won this in 2015 and 2016 but is not the same horse nowadays but Houblon Des Obeaux showed he was still a force to be reckoned with in a valuable veterans’ chase here last month. Venetia Williams also runs the well-regarded Belami Des Pictons and Give Me A Copper could also figure if fully wound-up. ROLLING DYLAN has been running well enough this season to take a hand in the finish and he’ll be staying on when others have cried enough, though Kimberlite Candy is better than he showed at Haydock last time. Ami Desbois is also interesting as he lost a shoe at Haydock but still ran well for a long way.
