    Verdict

    Boothill is an improving chaser and Unexpected Party chased home the subsequent Grade 2 winner McFabulous on his chasing bow at Exeter but it would be a huge shock if either of them were capable of beating JONBON off level weights. A leading novice hurdler last season, the latter made a smooth transition to fences at Warwick and could be destined for top honours. Honneur D'Ajonc has shown little in two runs so far over the larger obstacles.
