Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners line up for this Listed Chase in which it is hard to get away from TATENEN, who gets the vote over Seven Is My Number and Kicks For Free. The last mentioned looks the second best of the two runners trained by Paul Nicholls and was well held behind Monet's Garden in Aintree's Old Roan Chase on his reappearance but he is better than he showed that day and makes more appeal than Or Jaune. Gary Moore's gelding has won on a soft surface but is better on faster ground and he looks best left out of calculations. David Pipe's Seven Is My Number has shown steady improvement over fences this term with wins in novice events at Worcester, Stratford and Bangor but he faces no easy task against Tatenen. The five-year-old looked beaten before making a mistake and unseating Christian Williams three out on his return at Cheltenham last month but he had shown a decent level of form last term and looks worth being with in this company.
