In depth

Verdict

These races are a welcome initiative and KILLYGLEN can take this race at the principal expense of According To John and Gone To Lunch. Howard Johnson's charge is probably just below top class but when he gets into a rhythm, he can still appear impressive. Put simply, he never got into any such rhythm in the Hennessy and that can be safely overlooked. According To John is in off a very light weight and a check will need to be made to see if Timmy Murphy is able to do it. He plugged on eyecatchingly at Newcastle last time out into the places and should have come on for that effort. Gone To Lunch is the apple of his trainer's eye. Fourth in the Scottish National, this trip looks to be sharp enough. Psychomodo looks likely to set them off at a fair lick. He could be taken on for it by the equally chippy Razor Royale. Monkerhostein needs no introduction to punters and he appears able to demonstrate his best form at track. He remains willing despite advancing years coming into play. Exmoor Ranger won well at Newbury so any money for him should not be ignored. Or Jaune has ran a few stinkers of late but with his yard among the winners, he has each-way claims off a revised handicap mark. Massasoit might need it softer though is an interesting entrant from the Paul Nicholls yard. The most competitive race of the day and Killyglen can make class count.
