      In depth

      Formwatch

Blue Gold Seems better over 10 furlongs but could struggle with such a large weight; trainer in form however and has run well here before.

Catchy Word In and out performer but has shown best form on this surface; trainer going well and should be in the shake up.

Ulundi Put up career best performance when finishing second here last year; loves this fast ground and is as game as a pebble; definite chance.

Pantar (IRE) Trainer not in the best of form but this horse ran his best race for some time over this course and distance last time; looks the one to be on.

Riberac Very consistent type over a variety of distances; a credit to his trainer but this ground could possibly be a tad too fast.

Elmhurst Boy Loves this track but has a tendency to run some stinkers; not one to rely upon.

Canada Opposable on the balance of form; this ground could be a little too fast for this son of Ezzoud.

Thundering Surf Ultra-consistent this season and deserves to win this type of race; has won at this track before and could go well at a decent price.

Faraway Look (USA) First attempt at this trip but ran very well last time at Haydock and looks a worthy favourite.

Invader Has been laid out for this race and will be up there at the finish; suited by track and trip and is one to consider.

Pinchincha (FR) Stable star who always runs well (usually in defeat); has slipped down the handicap but likely to find a couple too good today.

Man O'Mystery (USA) Not won for a long time but has ability; improved performance last time and has good place claims.
