Verdict

Bonchester Bridge and Captain Snowden are likely to be a warm order but it may be worth taking them on with Major Wheeler's mount, Signs Of Love. The selection has had just the one start this season and disappointed on that but that start came in the ultra-competitive Gerry Feilden and the lightly raced gelding was well backed throughout the day. On his final start of last season he thrashed Mon Michel and Peacock in a novice hurdle; that pair have franked the form this season and are now rated at about the 130 mark. The selection lines up here on a mark of 115 and looks well handicapped. Bonchester Bridge has mixed hurdling and chasing this season and the mare is sure to have been well primed but looks high enough in the weights. Danse Macabre is perhaps the most interesting of the remainder but Signs Of Love could prove to be a cut above these rivals if back on song.
