Verdict

Darebin runs his best races here but this trip is beyond his best but Chef D'Equipe could be interesting after a pipe-opener at Newbury where he only weakened approaching the last. FARINET spread a plate and was pulled up in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham on his reappearance. If that has blown away the cobwebs, he is very capable of going close in this grade despite a welter burden. Goa Lil has won over hurdles and fences this term and was just beaten at Kempton when last seen while Kilbrook won at Carlisle in October. Red Happy is best watched having a first run for the Pipe team while Luckofthedraw is probably back in the handicapper’s grip and Redzor has a very long absence to overcome.
