      Verdict

This race has been won by some very decent sprinters in the past and with a low draw, the Karl Burke-trained MARSHMAN makes plenty of appeal given Ryan Moore takes the mount for the first time. Raasel won this race last year and will be high on the shortlist for honours and should confirm form with his old foe Equilateral. Annaf kept on well in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot and his first success on Turf surely isn’t far away. Get Ahead attempts to step up from a Listed success at Haydock while Equality was well held in the Temple Stakes but did bounce back with a success in a Windsor handicap.
