      In depth

      Verdict

Placed in Listed company last year, HAGGLE returned to action with a good effort at Goodwood when beaten only a length. She should be sharper for this and is just preferred to Shawaahid. The latter won at Wolverhampton before being placed in this grade at Newmarket recently while Staunch ran well at Salisbury last month though is upped in class today. Sacred Act went close on the all-weather when last in action though that was in April last year and Medburn Dream has been raised 5lb after landing a decent handicap at Chepstow. Quixote has an easier task than of late and could go well off top weight.
