Sue Smith's Bougoure faces no easy task under top weight and the vote in an ultra-competitive contest goes to Tokala, who Tony McCoy rides in preference to Yaboya. The last mentioned has to be respected having won well last time but the booking of McCoy for Tokala really takes the eye. Brendan Powell's gelding should appreciate the step back up in trip and today's softer surface than last time when he caught the eye staying on over shorter. Nicky Henderson's Wogan looks to have got in on a fair mark and should handle the testing conditions well enough so should be thereabouts along with Mark Pitman's mudlark Snakebite. Idris has done little wrong of late but Gary Moore's gelding could probably do with some help from he handicapper, while Principe Azzurro is closely matched with Wogan on their running at Warwick last month and has claims on that evidence. Killaghy Castle is lightly raced and remains open to improvement but Tokala gave the strong impression that this trip would suit better last time and he gets the vote.
