Verdict

Some smart sprinters have won this in recent seasons. Profitable had Bath Listed winner Zuhoor Baynoona back in fifth when winning at York but both of that pair have a penalty to carry in this and neither have been lucky with the draw. Waady won here and at Nottingham in April before failing to complete the hat-trick over 6f at Newbury. He shouldn't be far away and appears to have the beating of Elysian Flyer, who may need softer ground. We'll take a chance on LIKELY, even though it's more than a year since he made an impressive winning debut at Carlisle. The runner-up that day, Mattmu, has turned into a decent sprinter and David Barron sent Pearl Secret down south to win this in 2012.
