    Verdict

    MANIGORDO earned a rating of 98 after a fine first campaign which saw him beaten a neck at Ascot and just a length in a lucrative sales race at Doncaster. He should go on to better things than this and the two opponents who have experience have shown little. The filly Taawfan has a superb pedigree being closely related to six winners out of the 1000 Guineas winner Ameerat so she's worth noting for the future.
