      Verdict

Yaakooum was well backed on debut at Newbury but missed the break and never got competitive thereafter. That will have taught him plenty and the extra yardage here is probably in his favour. Richard Hannon also saddles Windshear and he has plenty of stamina in his pedigree, though may make a better three-year-old. Scotland should eventually pay his way while Danjeu is by Montjeu and is entered in a couple of this autumn's valuable sales races. But Lady Cecil must have a high opinion of VENEZIA as the grey, a son of Galileo, still holds an entry in next month's Racing Post Trophy and would probably have to win this to take his chance.
