CLOWANCE ESTATE wasn't seen again after making a winning debut over 1m3f at Lingfield more than a year ago but Roger Charlton is persevering with the Teofilo gelding so presumably thinks he has more to offer. A mark of 85 seems fair and he can double his tally against exposed handicappers, the best of which may be last month's course and distance winner Tight Lipped who'll be partnered by useful 5lb claimer Rosie Jessop. Cayuga disappointed at Epsom last time but has claims on an earlier second at Newmarket while Aegaeus is much better than he showed at Ripon, though is still proving difficult to settle. Southwell winner The Lock Master was only beaten a short-head at Beverley next time but is 4lb higher now.
