Verdict

This looks much too short for Anteros and Saintemilion and Hollywood Ken have a bit to prove at present but Monday Club is a consistent type and so is Working Class and the latter pair should be thereabouts again. Briac is on a roll and won this last year but his partner that day, Sean Houlihan, rides LEGEND OF FRANCE this time. He was staying on last time at Lingfield, on ground that was probably quicker than ideal, and was in good form at Plumpton earlier. The going will also suit Royal Sunday and he has a squeak at the weights but Oscar Hoof is only a plater nowadays. Maquisard is eased in grade but jumping concerns remain.
