Richard Hannon has won the last two of these and both Indignant, a good second at Newbury on his reappearance, and the returning easy Newmarket maiden winner Beautiful View, have prospects in another wide open handicap. Pythagorean has won two Leicester handicaps at this trip and was impressive last time despite swerving in the closing stages. He'll be thereabouts but anyone who saw DEFENDANT land his maiden in emphatic style at Beverley won't want to miss him on his handicap debut from a mark of 85 and he's handed the vote. Burning Blaze didn't get the run of the race on his reappearance at Newmarket but caught the eye and can get involved.
